I’m moving to my new website: www.worldbyjan.com
Few weeks ago I was shooting with my friend one model and it took place near John Lennon’s Wall in Prague. The wall itself has great colors and I wanted to keep it simple. Make model just pop with shallow depth of field and get interesting colors also from wall. We used two flashes all the time, one was on camera and used only to trigger the second flash, both were in group A and in E-TTL II mode. To give the light some shape I used shoot-through umbrella.
The first portraits were OK, nothing special but nothing anybody should feel ashamed of but everything went different when she changed clothes. I found out she has some cool tattoos especially on her back and it became my new focus and task. Thanks God she had great dress that reveals back completely and it made shot even more interesting. The basic idea was to get shape from her body and colors will be added by the wall. And it worked perfectly.
